Life Guide to Perfection… to help you enjoy your own blissful obscurity.
02/Dec/12
(I hate how tumblr doesn’t date things unless you look in the archive).
Is it really possible to be perfect?
Is the ellusive quest for perfection a waste of time if no one will ever really notice you anyway?
I have been searching high and low for a ‘life guide’ of sorts that encompasses everything anyone could ever need to be their ‘perfect-self’. Mostly it’s all vanity stuff, but in the world the way it is today, it feels as though it would be much easier to focus on the inside stuff once the outside stuff is taken care of. I mean, when you spend half your time thinking about what other people think about you, isn’t it worth investing some time on yourself so you no longer have to worry so much? I have managed to find lots of little blogs and posts claiming things like “how to be a super hot chick”, “how to be the perfect girlfriend/lover/wife”, posts that claim they know the best skin care regime, that you NEED to do your hair like that actress that is more famous than you’ll ever be… the list goes on. But I have never found one that just lays it out, step by step. If you know of one, please, save me the time and effort, but until I find one, I am going to develop my own. Mostly it’s purely selfish, but if you can get something out of it too, right on *air fist pump*.
I’ll be honest, I’m a simple person with relatively simple goals in life, I’m not a bombshell, but people aren’t grossed out when they see me in the street either… So we’ll see. I hope to tackle everything one could possibly want to know about establishing that perfect appearance for the most rewarding life one could lead in their own obscurity. I wish someone had done it for me, but I guess if you’ve found this blog now you don’t have to. From health & fitness, to hair, to skin care regimes for perfect skin, to conquering dreaded makeup techniques, to mastering self-esteem for those situations you actually need it… I’ve even dabbled in the benefits of pheromones…
I will keep referring back to this post, I’m hoping that one day I will have all the steps covered…
Step 1: (02/Dec/12) - Improve your diet.
Whether you like it or not, what you put in your mouth counts. My experience with dieting (I don’t care if you think diet is an evil word, even if you eat Maccas everyday, it’s still called your ‘diet’) has been a vicious, painful process. This one will be extremely experimental if you have no clue when it comes to this stuff or haven’t tried anything yet, and because I’m no dietician or nutritionist, I can’t really recommend anything to you either, but I can tell you what has and what HASN’T worked for me. I’m still working on this one, so really, I’m still stuck at Step 1.
Stay tuned! :)
